Health & Beauty: Women are always looking for new ways to keep them looking good on-the-go with easy to find fixes. Check out these seven quick tips to looking your best whether you're a new mom smack dab in the middle of 3 a.m. feedings or you're stranded in an airport on your way to Dubai.
Tip 1: Tired skin often looks pale and ashy. Use a facial self-tanner, such as Jergens facial moisturizer, to give your skin an instant glow. Don't be surprised if people start asking if you just returned from vacation!
Tip 2: Sharon Becker of SB Beauty recommends using Tarte's Eraser Concealer to cover dark circles and other imperfections. It also treats the skin with added ingredients that soothe inflamed skin and blemishes. "Looks like a magic marker and works like magic," she says.
Tip 3: To brighten up tired eyes, use a soft white eyeshadow in the corner of the eyes (not the lid), says esthetician and makeup artist, April Meese. "Highlighting the inner corner of the eyes brightens the eyes and makes any tired mom look more awake."
Tip 4: Groom your eyebrows: "The number one thing a mom (or any woman) can do to look more polished and lift the eye area is to get their eyebrows shaped and waxed (or plucked) and darken in remaining brows with a compact powder a shade or two darker than the natural brow," says celebrity style and image consultant Kami Gray.
Tip 5: Limp and greasy hair can make you look tired and fatigued. "A god-send to oily hair is PSSSSSST instant spray shampoo," says makeup artist Patty Bell. "If you don't have time to shampoo in the morning, one spritz on the roots and you are good to go...cornstarch or baby powder does the same thing."
Tip 6: Wake up your face with a multi-tasking lip and cheek stain, like this cool product from Three Custom Color Specialists. It instantly livens up a tired complexion by adding a pop of color to your cheeks and lips. The model pictured above is wearing the "Ski Bunny" stain on her lips and cheeks.
Tip 7: "Instantly wake up your eyes by using dark brown eyeliner (less harsh than black) and a swipe of taupe eyeshadow to counteract tired, pink eyes," says Dana Wood, author of Momover: The New Mom's Guide to Getting it Back Together. "And don't forget to curl your lashes, which will instantly make you look more awake."
