Superstar Chefs Cook for a Cause

The luxury Lifestyle blog (the home of luxury Lifestyle) presents Superstar Chefs Cook for a Cause.

Few causes bring chefs together like GrowNYC, a nonprofit that sponsors farmer’s markets across most of the five boroughs. Its fourth annual Taste of Greenmarket on June 22 features cocktails and dishes by an all-star lineup: Dan Barber of Blue Hill, Gabriel Kreuther of the Modern, Marc Forgione of Marc Forgione, April Bloomfield of the Spotted Pig, Bill Telepan of Telepan, and more than 15 other culinary stars. Tickets that include the VIP tasting hour ($350) allow diners to mingle with the chefs and other unnamed special guests. (General admission tickets are $225.) Proceeds benefit Greenmarket’s Youth Education Project, which teaches thousands of city schoolchildren about the pleasures of eating fresh, seasonal foods.
