Every year, Neiman Marcus’ Christmas Book special has a very uber-expensive luxury vehicle that gets sold out pretty quickly.
This year, Neiman Marcus teamed up with McLaren Automotive to offer a total of 12 units of a special-edition MP4-12C Spider at a whopping $354,000.
Buyers apparently snatched up all 12 units within 2 hours – giving them the chance to be the first owners of the new car, which is not yet available for delivery.
The 2013 Neiman Marcus Edition McLaren 12C Spider is dressed in Volcano Red and includes lightweight diamond-cut wheels with Gloss Black inners, Gloss Black graphics, contrast red stitching, a stainless steel special-edition numbered badge and a McLaren luggage set.
Besides the 12C Spider, new owners of the supercar have also received a first class flight to McLaren Technology Center in Woking, UK, where they will be having dinner with Ron Dennis, the supercar manufacturer’s chairman.
Last year, the 10 Ferrari FF supercars sold off in mere 50 minutes and it took just 3 minutes for 100 of its special Chevrolet Camaro Convertibles to sell out in 2010.
